Cocon Home: curvy shapes
Those who were punished by going to a corner in the childhood will feel absolutely comfortable in Cocon Home because of the curvy shapes across all the four floors.
There was Cocon Club here seven years ago in the compound construction honored with an up-market architecture exhibition award famous for the cocoon shape lavatory hanging under the ceiling.
Two years later the club was burned down and made another attempt to attract the clubber’s attention; and now converted into the restaurant. This was a right bet – all the clubbers had seen cocoon-toilet already but space for the gastronomes was still open.
The name was adjusted to Cocon Home. Home coziness following the designer’s idea was created by Burberry plaid taken for decoration of the cell-shaped first floor lounge. Small lounge filled in with plenty of plaid but if you take a seat at a round coach and draw the curtain of the alcove you’ll find yourself in a quite a cozy place.
The architects awarded Cocon a while ago must had never tried going up the glass staircase hanging in the air and for sure they hadn’t tried going downstairs and catching the thing metal rods after a heavy dinner and couple of drinks. The architects may have well trained vestibular system but they don’t contradict the principles of humanity. And as a result Cocon owners by bringing pink plush bed on the third floor don’t take any risk if their guests are smoking hookah or playing strip-card games nobody can disturb them.
A dish you shouldn’t disregard is risotto mojito with crab meat; it’s not much of crab in the risotto but an unusual taste of lemon and mint compensates this. Same as chorizo with its aroma saves tender but not reach pumpkin taste.
Although Cocon-Fantasy special salad is a bit overloaded with details but still demonstrates that the Chef is not a starter in cooking the tidbits. Bitter taste of radicchio and walnut successfully shade the taste of cream sauce and truffle aftertaste and sweet pear shares its juice to the goose mortadella. And vegetable strudel smells like a smell of real Province ratatouille as if every flavor has just been picked from the garden.
